Kiwifruit Capital
Yum! Te Puke, the Kiwfruit capital of the world. While I was there I took the Kiwi360 Tour, rode on the KiwiKarts, and got a photo with their famous giant Kiwifruit. I even got to eat some of their delicious Kiwifruit.
Did you know some lucky dairy cows get fed Kiwifruit as well as grass? Kiwifruit are high in energy which makes them a great food for milking cows, but just like people we can’t eat too many in one go. I’ve packed a few kilos in my suitcase to help keep my energy up for my journey!
